Text Box: London Hotel School

London Hotel School was established in 1995, it is the only college dedicated to hospitality in the UK. It is located in Kensington Olympia in a modern bright campus close to the city centre and all the major London hotels.

The teaching staff at LHS have worked as managers in the hotel industry (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Conference and Banqueting, Human Resources and Sales and Marketing etc.) and have the appropriate qualifications to teach hospitality management.

London Hotel School was first accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) for Independent Further and Higher Education in 1999. It was most recently re-inspected in November 2003. BAC inspectors reported on an excellent standard of premises and provision for student welfare. Inspectors were very impressed with the quality of the accommodation and with the attention paid by the school to all aspects of health and safety. The
School had a commendable commitment to student welfare and the students appreciated the supportive attitude of staff and management. The teaching and learning at London Hotel School displayed many strengths, including interactive and participative approaches, up to date content presented by knowledgeable staff, sound assessment and feedback to students, and well structured of intensive programmes that prepared students well for the hotel industry.
