Text Box: NEWS in Asia—2008 (General) April 12th April Saturday, London Hotel School Marketing Office Asia will organize a seminar at One World Hotel (PJ, next to One Utama shopping center) about Studying Hotel Management in London. All high school leavers are welcome to meet Mr. Rod Hardingham to know more about the course and also for those who want to apply on that day, please bring along your academic transripts /SPM/UEC/STPM results. Please contact Nick for more information at 012 4386606. 13th April Sunday, LHS’s representative in Melaka—Jasutama Education Sdn. Bhd. Will organize a seminar in Melaka about Studying Hotel Management in London. Mr. Rod Hardingham and Nick will both give talk in English and Chinese. Please contact Miss Kelly Chiew for more information at 06 2863969。 14th April Monday, Mr. Rod Hardingham will visit Insworld Consultant Services in Singapore。 February Mr. Rod Hardingham (Principal) visited Malaysia from16th to 21st, he met students from Kolej Disted-Stamford, Stamford College Melaka, Olympia College Penang, Olympia College Ipoh and Olympia College PJ. 2006-2007 Shaiful from Bangladesh completed his HND in 2007, and had work placement at the Apex Hotel. He has now got a 5 year work permit and the hotel is offering him a new promotion as a Conference and Banqueting Manager. Riju from Goa India joined Ritz Hotel in the restaurant as a Supervisor with 5 year work permit after HND. Paron from Thailand completed his HND and work placement at Berkley Hotel, and the hotel is applying for a 5 year work permit. Meng Chen from Shanghai was awarded Employee of the Year at Mandarin Oriental Hotel London. He is now working as a Chef in the Banqueting department. Charles Choi from Korea is the Reservation Manager at Ritz Hotel now after his HND 3 years ago. Ken Nakakura from Japan is the Guest Services Supervisor at Threadneedles Hotel beside the Bank of England with a 5 year work permit.
